The Starduster was designed by Sal Taibi in 1958 and has been flown in many sizes ranging from 150 square inches to 900 square inches (and many sizes outside that range as well). It has traditionally been an excellent competition model whose design characteristics make it easy to trim and be competitive.
This Starduster 350 was built by Allen Heinrich from an R/N Models kit. It is powered by a re-tuned Cox .049 and is covered with domestic tissue. A proven 5 minute "dead air" airplane.
